Children Books About Animals
I wonder if you remember when you were younger, looking with admiration at all sort of animals? Animals are amazing. Everybody loves them (well, most of us), but kids seem to be especially in love with fuzzy, little faces. Perhaps they like them because so many of them are the same size as they are, and perhaps because animals are so captivatingly different. I can not tell why, but I do know that the attraction is true.
For the longest time my daughter’s favorite books have been ones that have featured animals and stories about them. All my daughter wants to read for a long time were animal books, and they are still her favourite.
The first animal books that she looked at were simple picture books. All she wanted was to look at the different animals and see what they can do or where they live. I have noticed that my daughter is now more interested in the ones that are not well known, even though her most favorite animal books were the ones about animals that she could see every day.
She wants to visit Australia and hold a koala bear. She often likes to pretend she is a koala, and often tells me that her favorite animal is a baby kangaroo, which she calls a Joey.
